Abstract

A draft of the US Federal Aviation Administration on amendments to the text of aviation standards regarding fire safety requirements is considered. In the proposed set of documents, a significant change in the requirements and the test methods used is planned. After the adoption of this amendment, in order to certify new brands of domestic aviation equipment for compliance with foreign aviation standards, as well as to create competitive materials, it is necessary to develop a domestic testing base for conducting fire tests.
