Abstract

Аnalyzes the physico-chemical processes in the laser processing of magnetic materials. It is shown that not only the duration of the laser pulse and its power (the main parameters usually taken into account when laser modification of the microstructure of the material), but also the wavelength, polarization of light can affect the result of laser processing. The local temperature caused by laser irradiation depends both on the size of the irradiated object, its chemical composition, heat capacity and thermal conductivity of the material, and on the rate of energy exchange between thermal reservoirs associated with the atomic, electron and spin subsystems of the magnet.
