Abstract

Not cooled nozzle turbine blade prototype from ceramic composite material of SiC-SiCw–B4C–AlN system was obtained by the method of spark plasma sintering. The received prototype combines low values of density (3,4 g/cm3) and CTE (α=(5,3–5,4)10-6 K-1) with high level of mechanical and thermal characteristics: microhardness (25–26 GPa), flexural strength (413 MPa), crack resistance (6,2–6,9 MPa√м) and heat resistance at 1500 °C (weight change is 0,72–0,77% during 600 h). The spark plasma sintering method has allowed to obtain uniform structure of not cooled nozzle turbine blade prototype from ceramic composite material.
