Abstract

The article provides an overview of scientific and technical information in the field of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), information on foreign and Russian manufacturers of UHMWPE, release forms, data on the assortment and properties of fibers and fabrics from UHMWPE of various manufacturers, an overview of applications, ongoing research and prospects development of work in this area. Including data is provided on the rapidly developing market of UHMWPE products manufactured by Chinese manufacturers, as well as on Russian developments in the field of UHMWPE.
